1. Introduction

Urban Refurbishment specializes in residential remodeling services, including design, construction, and project management. These Terms and Conditions apply to all clients and users of our website and services.

2. Scope of Services

Urban Refurbishment offers premium residential remodeling services. Details of specific projects, including deliverables, timelines, and costs, will be outlined in a separate agreement with the client.

3. Payment Terms

Estimates: Quotes provided are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified.

Payment Schedule: Payments are made in installments, including an initial deposit (non-refundable), milestone-based payments, and a final payment upon project completion.

Late Payments: Overdue invoices may incur a late fee of 8%per month.

4. Changes and Additional Work

Any changes to the original project scope must be requested in writing.

Additional charges and timeline adjustments may apply for approved changes or additions.

5. Project Timelines

Urban Refurbishment strives to meet project deadlines. However, certain factors may cause delays, including:

Weather conditions.
Supply chain disruptions.
Client delays in approvals or payments.
Unforeseen site conditions.

6. Materials and Warranties

We use high-quality materials that align with luxury standards.

We follow the state mandated 1 year warranty against aesthetic defects and 10 year mechanical warranty.

7. Client Responsibilities

Clients are expected to:

Provide access to the project site during agreed working hours.
Secure any required homeowner association approvals.
Make timely payments as per the agreed schedule.

8. Liability

Urban Refurbishment is insured for general liability and workers' compensation. However, we are not responsible for:

Pre-existing structural issues.
Damage caused by third parties or the client after project completion.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement in writing if there is a material breach.

If the client terminates without cause, they are responsible for all costs incurred up to the termination date.

10. Dispute Resolution

Disputes will first be addressed through mediation.

11. Confidentiality

Urban Refurbishment values your privacy and will keep all project details and client information confidential.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, along with any signed project agreements, constitute the entire agreement between Urban Refurbishment and the client, superseding all prior communications.
